CLUB FOR HEROES
Club for Heroes: 'Here to save the kids'
Club for Heroes promises to bring clubbers a night of upbeat, electronic disco music that will make you want to dance your pants off, although you'd be welcome to wear them over your clothes.
Utter Gutter (Glasgow School of Art) regular Dr Love has turned his attention to his home town to present a dazzling mixture of the ultimate musical heroes – incorporating classic New York Disco, motorik German Techno, bumpin' Chicago House and Cosmic Space Rock, all with a hefty dose of cheek and a healthy sense of humour.
This is a place for open minds, big hearts and smiley faces, providing a welcome respite to the monotony of Edinburgh's gay club scene. Club for Heroes champions the likes of LCD Soundsystem, Prince, Sylvester, Green Velvet and Carl Craig, and will appeal to the discerning clubber, whatever their persuasion.
Punks, ravers, emos, geeks, screaming queens, beatniks, hipsters, squares, moshers, goths … Even those who don't know they like "dance music" - Club for Heroes just wants you to have fun and dance your socks off.
